National Sales Manager (Agronomist)

Nutri-Tech Solutions (NTS) seeks a highly motivated Sales Manager to join a dynamic sustainable fertiliser company.  

NTS has been manufacturing premium naturally-based fertilisers since 1994 and the range now encompasses over 200 products with 64 registered organic (largest organic range in the world). The range is distributed throughout Australia and to over 40 international locations.  NTS works with all farming industries, horticulture, broadacre and livestock, and aims to provide customised solutions to all farmers/growers.  NTS is well renowned for the four-day comprehensive course, The Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture, and the personalised Soil and Plant Therapy services. 

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced agricultural sales manager with a proven track record in the field.  This role is responsible for increasing market share in Australia, developing new business opportunities, implementing team sales targets, monitoring team performance and providing support to NTS Distributors.

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Science, or similar, and experience as a hands-on Agronomist/Ag Consultant.
  • The passion towards achieving a more sustainable agricultural industry including reducing chemical usage.
  • Previous sales management experience with demonstrated success in agriculture/horticulture.
  • Team management experience and the natural ability to drive a sales/agronomy team to reach targets and deadlines.
  • Experience with agricultural Distributor networks in Australia.
  • Enthusiasm to succeed and highly committed to company growth.
  • The drive to educate farmers, consultants and NTS Distributors on biological/sustainable strategies and inputs.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, both personally and on a team level.
  • The willingness to travel throughout Australia on a frequent basis (and overseas if required).
  • A dwelling on the Sunshine Coast or the desire to relocate to a beautiful destination for a "sea change".
